FX's C.I.A. drama "The Old Man" has added Leem Lubany and E.J. Bonilla to the show. Lubany will play a younger version of Abby Chase, the wife of Dan Chase (played by Jeff Bridges) while Bonilla will play a CIA operative Raymond Waters who teams up with Harold Harper (John Lithgow) to capture Dan Chase, who becomes a fugitive on the run.
The series is based on Thomas Perry's novel of the same name Dan Chase (Bridges), who absconded from the CIA decades ago and has been living off the grid since. When an assassin arrives and tries to take Chase out, the old operative learns that to ensure his future he now must reconcile his past.
The series is created by Jon Steinberg and Robert Levine. Indie breakout and a successful franchise director John Watts (Cop Car, Spider-Man Homecoming and Far From Home) will direct the pilot episode. Watts will also be executive-producing the series along with Steinberg and Levine.
