Kitty Green's Harvey-Weinstein inspired "The Assistant" has found a distributor in the form of Bleecker Street. The movie first premiered at the Telluride Film Festival on August 30, 2019, and is now slated for a theatrical release of January 31, 2020, by Bleecker Street.

Starring Emmy-winner Julia Garner, The Assistant takes a look at the day in the life of the assistant, Jane (Julia Garner) to a powerful corporate executive. Written and directed by Kitty Green, it also stars Matthew Macfadyen, Kristine Forseth, Makenzie Leigh, Noah Robbins, Dagmara Domińczyk, and Purva Bedi.
