Only after a few hours of cancellation of Naomi Watts starrer "Game of Thrones" prequel, HBO has been quick to give a sense of finality to another GOT project in works. The network has given a full series order for the prequel "House of the Dragons."
The prequel, which will center on the House Targaryen is said to be 300 years before the events of the flagship series that tracks the beginnings and the end of House Targaryen. The series will also take us right into the heart of "Dance of the Dragons" Civil War amidst the Targaryens.
"House of the Dragons" is co-created by Ryan Condal and George R.R. Martin. Miguel Sapochnik, who won an Emmy for directing the "Battle of the Bastards" episode of Game of Thrones will direct the pilot episode and some others.
