We are right in the Oscar season, and Greta Gerwig's "Little Women" is undoubtedly going to be a strong contender. After making a splash with her directorial debut "Lady Bird" Greta Gerwig is bringing us her modern take on the classic "Little Women."

To fan the excitement of the fans, the makers of the film released the character posters of the main characters via Instagram. All characters look determined and resolute with a hint of lightness in their eyes. The makers also released an official poster for the film.

Little Women' is written and directed by Oscar-nominated Greta Gerwig and stars a magnificent ensemble cast of Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, Saorise Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Timothee Chalamet, Bob Odenkirk, Chris Cooper, James Norton, Louis Garrel, Abby Quin among others.

With Amy Pascal, Denise De Novi, Robin Swicord, Arnon Milchan producing, Little Women has an upcoming Christmas release of 25 December, just in time for Oscar season.
