The New Zealand based filmmaker Christine Jeffs' last feature "Sunshine Cleaning" starring Amy Adams and Emily Blunt came out in 2008. Jeffs has got her next project, as she is set to direct an indie revenge movie "Every Breath You Take" starring Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, and Sam Claflin.
Slated to go into production next month in Vancouver, Canada, "Every Breath You Take" is about a psychiatrist (Casey Affleck) whose career is thrown into jeopardy when his patient takes her own life. When he invites his patient's surviving brother(Sam Claflin), into his home to meet his wife (Michelle Monaghan) and daughter, his family life is suddenly torn apart.
"Every Breath You Take" is written by David Murray and directed by Christine Jeffs, with Richard B. Lewis, Ferres and Frank Buchs producers.Tannaz Anisi and Gregory R. Schenz alongside Gabrielle Jerou-Tabak and Jon Levin will serve as executive producers.
Richard Lewis, one of the producers, said in a statement "I'm extremely pleased that the gifted Christine Jeffs and our world-class cast have come together to bring this amazing thriller to life, as it touches on themes of family, betrayal, and redemption that are universal and resonate for all of us."
