Channing Tatum will star in Paramount Pictures' drama "Soundtrack of Silence". The "Step Up" actor, who is also a producer on the movie will be reteaming with "Dear John" producers Temple Hill to bring this project on the screen. "Soundtrack of Silence" is centered on Matt Hay, a sophomore in college who is losing his hearing and wants to capture the sounds that are slipping away, including the songs and soundtrack of his youth.

As the young man listens to music with a new appreciation, he develops a silent soundtrack in his head and a deeper love for his girlfriend. The screenplay for "Soundtrack of Silence" is written by Jamie Linden, with no director attached as of now. Apart from Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, Marty Bowen, Isaac Klausner, and John Fischer will also serve as the producers.
