Scott Eastwood has joined Guy Ritchie's heist movie "Cash Truck." The "Pacific Rim" actor has joined Jason Statham for the Miramax's English language remake of the French thriller "Le Convoyeur" which starred Jean Dujardin.
In "Cash Truck," Jason Statham will portray a cold and mysterious character who works for an armored the truck company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week. Miramax CEO Bill Block and Ivan Atkinson will serve as producers.
Guy Ritchie has had a fantastic year with the live-action adaptation of "Aladdin" starring Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, and Will Smith as it went to make $1.051 billion worldwide. Ritchie also has an action thriller movie called "The Gentlemen" coming up. It stars Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Dockery, Henry Golding, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsen, Colling Ferrell, and Hugh Grant. The movie has a theatrical release date of January 24, 2020.
