John Boyega will star in the upcoming Netflix movie "Rebel Ridge". Boyega will be playing an ex-marine who takes on a group of dirty cops in a high-velocity thriller that explores systemic American injustices through bone-breaking action sequences, suspences, and dark humor, much like his 2013 movie "Green Room".

"Rebel Ridge" will be directed by Jeremy Saulnier. This will continue his professional relationship with Netflix, who released Saulnier's last movie "Hold The Dark" starring Jeffrey Wright. "Rebel Ridge" will be produced by Filmscience and Bonneville Pictures along with Saulnier, Anish Savjani, Neil Kopp, Vincent Savino. Macon Blair will serve as an executive producer.
