After Susanne Bier's `Birdbox,` Sandra Bullock is returning to Netflix for a drama about the life of prison. `The Blind Side` actor will play a character who is released from prison after serving time for a violent crime and re-enters a society that refuses to forgive her past. Facing severe judgment from her former friends and peers, her only hope for redemption is finding the estranged younger sister she was forced to leave behind.

This untitled drama will be directed by Nora Fingscheidt and is written by Christopher McQuarrie. Graham King will produce along with Sandra Bullock. Nan Morales, Nicola Shindler, Sally Wainwright and Colin Vaines will serve as executive producers on the project. Apart from `Bird Box,` Bullock was also seen in `Ocean's 8` last year.
