`Del and Cherna` will be written by Rich Talarico and Alex Fendrich, who are also `Second City` alums. The movie will be produced by Daniel Crown, Yoni Liebling, Cannon and Laverne McKinnon, with Irene Marquette serving as an executive producer.
Producer Daniel Crown said in a statement ` We are thrilled to bring the story of Del Close and Charna Halpern, two comedic icons to the screen and explore how their evolving relationship impacted the history of comedy and influenced future performers.`
