Mark Wahlberg is in final negotiations to join Tom Holland in "Uncharted" movie. Wahlberg will play a man called Sully, Drake's closest friend who bails him out of trouble. Travis Knight (Kubo and The Two Strings, Bumblebee) will be directing, who gets the job after the departure of director Shawn Levy and Dan Trachtenberg.

"Unchartered" will be based on the adventures of Nathan Drake which will be played by Tom Holland. "Uncharted" is being co-written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway, and Rafe Judkins with Atlas Entertainment's Charles Roven and Alex Gartner are producing, along with Arad Productions' Avi Arad and Ari Arad for Arad Productions.

"Uncharted" has a release date on December 18, 2020.
