Anthony Mackie is Takeshi Kovacs in Season 2 of Altered Carbon, and as Kovacs is on a quest to find someone he thought long dead: creator of stack technology, leader of the Uprising, and his former love, Quellcrist Falconer.

Netflix is finally ready to show a little more of Altered Carbon's second season -- if only just. The service has posted a teaser trailer that revolves around Anthony Mackie as the "re-sleeve" of Takeshi Kovacs, who was played by Joel Kinnaman in the first season.



The new season debuts February 27th. There's a fair amount of hype for the show, both because of the relatively lengthy two-year wait and because of the show itself. Returning cast members and characters include Renee Elise Goldsberry as Quellcrist Falconer and Chris Conner as Poe. Also joining the cast this season are Simone Missick as Trepp; Dina Shihabi as Dig 301, Torben Liebrecht as Colonel Carrera; and James Saito is Tanaseda Hideki
