If you've never seen the 1996 classic The First Wives Club, it's impossible for me to overstate how much I envy you, because you can still see it for the first time. The movie has it all: scheming! Female vengeance! Stockard Channing!

A window into the lesbian subculture of 1990s-era New York! Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton, and Bette Midler dancing to Lesley Gore's `You Don't Own Me` in Nancy Meyers-style all-white outfits! (Unfortunately Meyers didn't actually direct the film, but that's literally its only flaw.)

Now it appears the cinematic gods are rewarding us, because Hawn, Keaton, and Midler are reuniting for a movie that isn't exactly a sequel to The First Wives Club, but it's not not a sequel either.

The film is titled Family Jewels, and in it, `Hawn, Midler, and Keaton's characters are forced to spend the Christmas holidays together, along with their kids and grandkids, after the man they were all once married to drops dead in a New York City department store.`
