Pete Davidson's scorched-earth run proceeds with his Netflix stand-up special. The `Saturday Night Live` comic basically repossessed his apology for buffooning the eye spot of Rep Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas), a previous Navy SEAL that shed his eye in an Afghanistan bomb blast.

`I didn't think I did anything wrong,` Davidson claimed throughout his `Alive from New York` regular, launched on Tuesday, per The DailyBeast `It was like words that were twisted so that a guy could be famous.`

`I kind of got forced to apologize,` Davidson added the special, joking that he was purchased to claim he was sorry `so that I didn't get shot in the face.`

Before Crenshaw obtained chosen, Davidson joked on `SNL's` Weekend Update in November 2018 that he marvelled Crenshaw was `a congressional candidate from Texas and not a hit man in a porno movie.` He included a prideful `I'm sorry, I know he lost his eye in war or whatever.`

Davidson said sorry to Crenshaw on-air in an additional episode. Later, after Davidson composed on Instagram that he really did not `want to be on this earth anymore,` Crenshaw got in touch with the comic to supply assistance.
