How would you like to see the popular MI6 agent 007 talk in Bhojpuri? It's funny to imagine, right? Well, it looks like Universal Pictures has worked really hard on their Indian division to ensure the widest release for their upcoming Bond film 'No Time to Die'. The trailer has been released in 10 Indian languages: Hindi, Gujrati, Marathi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
'No Time to Die', initially titled 'Bond 25', is the 25th installment in the James Bond franchise and the fifth and final outing of Daniel Craig as the legendary spy. Although, the film will only be releasing in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The fifth, of course, is the original English version. The trailers are obviously hilarious, as expected. The English trailer is the natural, it gets you excited and gives you goosebumps. The Hindi draws the film and the characters closer to home. Now, try to imagine Bond talking in Gujarati or Bengali? We bet you cannot hold the curiosity anymore. Check out the trailers and have a laughter joyride:
Danny Boyle was originally attached to direct and co-write the screenplay with John Hodge. Both left due to creative differences in August 2018 and Emmy-winner Cary Joji Fukunaga was announced as Boyle's replacement a month later. It will be the first film in the series to be internationally distributed by Universal Pictures, which acquired rights following the expiration of Columbia Pictures' contract after the release of 'Spectre'.
No Time to Die is produced by EON productions. It is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga from a screenplay by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomi Harris, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, and Ralph Fiennes reprise their roles from previous films, with Rami Malek, Lakshana Lynch, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, and Billy Magnussen joining the cast.
Here's the official plot synopsis by Universal Pictures:
`In No Time to Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology."
