After 'Pirates of the Caribbean', Disney is testing the waters with another amusement-park-ride-turned-big-screen-adaptation in its upcoming adventure film, 'Jungle Cruise'. The latest trailer dropped on March 10, and its two minutes of pure entertainment. The film is an adaptation of Walt Disney's eponymous theme park attraction. You would feel as if the Rock has reprised his role from 'Jumanji'. Its a full-on adventure ride with just right comic timing.
Set in the early 20th century, Jungle Cruise stars Dwayne Johnson as a riverboat captain named Frank, who ends up crossing paths with scientist Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) and her brother (Jack Whitehall). Together they end up going on a wildly dangerous research mission into a jungle to find the Tree of Life which is believed to possess healing powers. The trio must fight against dangerous wild animals, marauders, and a villain (Jesse Plemons) who will stop at nothing to thwart Lily's plans. Watch the trailer here:
