Wonder Woman 1984 has revealed a new look at the DC superhero's Golden Eagle costume.

On Friday (March 13), the film's official Twitter account and director Patty Jenkins shared a new motion poster, in which Gal Gadot's hero is once again seen wearing the shiny armour, while gold liquid moves around her.

Recently they gave us an even closer look at the eye-catching costume, as Wonder Woman featured on the front cover of its March issue, showing off the shimmering suit's impressive wingspan.

In another image, Gadot is pictured staring straight at the camera, giving us our clearest look at the costume yet.

Despite making few appearances in comics, hardcore DC fans will be familiar with the Golden Eagle armour, having seen the Amazonian don it for some of her toughest battles - including those against the cosmic supervillain Imperiex and the "anti-Wonder Woman" Devastation.

For this sequel set in the '80s, Wonder Woman will be squaring off with two enemies in Kristen Wiig's Cheetah, a villainess who possesses superhuman strength and agility, and Pedro Pascal's business tycoon Maxwell Lord.
