The latest Hollywood celebrity to be infected by the dreaded Coronavirus is the James Bond actress, Olga Kurylenko. She, who starred as Camille Montes opposite Daniel Craig in the 2008 James Bond film 'Quantum of Solace', shared the news on her Instagram on Sunday. She has also acted alongside Tom Cruise in the 2013 film 'Oblivion'.

The Ukrainian born star who rose from being a model to appearing on television and in movies including 'Magic City' and 'The Man Who Killed Don Quixote', wrote that she is 'Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus'. The French actress-model has also appeared in 'Johnny English Strikes Again' (2018) in which she played a Russian spy and the love interest of the protagonist Johnny English, played by Rowan Atkinson. She urged her fans to take the outbreak seriously and to take care of themselves.

Hollywood is not immune to the contagion. Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson announced last week that they have been tested positive for the virus. The pair were diagnosed while in Australia and have been quarantined since. And now, English actor Idris Alba has been diagnosed too.

The WHO has declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. It has spread to more than 130 countries and has claimed more than 6000 lives. The situation got so severe in Italy because people kept shrugging it off as 'just flu', and now their ICU's are collapsing.
