Zach Braff and Donald Faison have finally listened to 'Scrubs' fans. The duo has officially launched a 'Scrubs' rewatch podcast titled 'Fake Doctors, Real Friends With Zach + Donald' at iHeartRadio. On the show, the actors will reminisce on the time they spent working on the show, revisit behind-the-scenes stories, and interview other cast members

The popular NBC comedy kicked off in 2001 and aired for nine seasons. The two will talk about all things related to Sacred Heart Hospital. The idea for the podcast sparked in February when Braff asked fans if they'd be open to a Scrubs rewatch podcast. Naturally, fans loved the idea. The podcast is now a reality and it is a better time than any for Braff and Faison to provide an uplifting podcast about a beloved comedy.

'Scrubs' featured Braff as neurotic physician, J.D. and Faison as Turk. They will also interview other former 'Scrubs' cast members and reach out to fans. In the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Braff and Faison have started doing the podcast from their homes via a video conference call. The weekly show drops Tuesday on the iHeartPodcast Network. Braff said that he and Faison are thrilled to be teaming with iHeartRadio for the podcast.

"The idea of gathering our fans all around the world together and revisiting the series episode by episode sounds like so much fun to us. Each week we'll tell behind the scenes stories, share experiences from our friendship and have lots of special guests. We'll also be taking live fan questions over the phone," the actor said.

"I am really excited about this. It's going to be a lot of fun, and I can't wait to talk to you all about such an important and amazing time in our lives," Faison added. 'Scrubs' also featured Sarah Chalke, John C McGinley, Judy Reyes, and Neil Flynn.

The first episode kicks off with the pilot and features Braff talks about how they landed the gig of J.D. The two give some behind-the-scenes details of the show. Episodes of 'Fake Doctors, Real Friends' will drop every Tuesday and Braff and Faison wax nostalgic and talk about episodes and answer fan questions. On top of that, they will feature special guests from the cast and crew including creator Bill Lawrence. Zach Braff shared the post on Instagarm:

Created by Bill Lawrence, Scrubs followed a group of young doctors at fictional teaching hospital Sacred Heart. It aired from 2001-2010, starting on NBC and ending on ABC. To pay tribute to the show's use of music, 'Fake Doctors, Real Friends' will feature a theme song with music created by Charlie Puth and lyrics written and performed by Braff and Faison.
