HBO has debuted the new list of movies and TV shows heading to the pay cable service in May 2020 (and what's expiring) and this month brings one of last year's biggest movies, Joker.

The R-rated re-imagining of the iconic comic book character earned Joaquin Phoenix a Best Actor statue last year, and he's bringing his signature brand of chaos to HBO on May 16.

Other new releases making their debut on HBO include Downton Abbey on May 9, The Art of Racing in the Rain on May 2, and last year's delightful horror comedy breakout Ready or Not. Additionally, newcoming highlights include Crazy Rich Asians, La La Land, BlacKkKlansman, Jaws, and In Bruges.

As for expiring titles, now's your last chance to watch movies like Big, True Lies, both Happy Death Day movies, and the eternally underrated John Cusack gem Grosse Pointe Blank.

As for the series content, May brings the Mark Rufallo vehicle I Know This Much Is True, Betty, and season finales for Westworld Season 3, My Brilliant Friend, We're Here, and Run
