In breaking the news Nosipho Dumisa said that: `I actually got a call the other day from some certain people from Netflix. They were like the way we loved the show so much we can't get enough, we definitely renewing season 2 so you guys need to get going,` announced Nosipho Dumisa.
Ama Qamata who plays the role of Puleng Khumalo could not contain her excitement when she said: `Shut the front door! What?` saying that she wanted to cry as she could not believe the good news delivered by Nosipho.
Nosipho Dumisa shared the announcement made by the online streaming platform - Netflix: `Because I think we could use some positive news right about now. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, South Africa, thank you world for getting behind Blood And Water. Thank you to every individual who made this possible.`
In less than a week of its release, Blood And Water made history by being the first South African show to rank number one in the US. The series held the number one spot in the top 10 in the USA on Netflix.
