The sexually fluid, 31-year-old model and deaf activist is teaming up with Lost and Hawaii Five-0 actor Daniel Dae Kim's production company, 3AD, to produce a comedy show based on his life as "a charismatic, street smart deaf man in modern times,"
Both Nyle and Kim are both set to executive produce the series, which will premiere on Spectrum Originals.
"really came a long way since tyra banks," Nyle tweeted earlier today, sharing the good news with his friends and fans.
Though this isn't his first time acting on-screen (Nyle has had roles in shows like Switched at Birth, Difficult People, and Station 19), this project is still set to make waves in TV, since it's still not often that we get to see queer people living with disabilities getting to produce and star in their own show.
