After the success of the teen romantic film 'The Kissing Booth' second installment, now Joey King has booked for her next big project along with superstar Brad Pitt. According to the Deadline report, the film is based on the Japanese novel 'Maria Beetle' by best-selling author Kotaro Isaka. The story follows several gang members who find themselves on the same train from Tokyo to Morioka.

Joey King couldn't hold her happiness and shared a screenshot of the Deadline report on Instagram while informing her fans about her upcoming project with Brad Pitt. According to Deadline, the film is being helmed by 'Hobbs & Shaw' director David Leitch, who will also supervise the script which will be written by Zak Olkewicz. Ryosuke Saegusa and Yuma Terada of CTB Inc., who represent Isaka and the IP, are executive producers on the project. On the work front, Brad Pitt was last seen in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', directed by Quentin Tarantino, for which he won his career-first acting Oscar. On the other side, Joey King has last seen the Netflix original film, 'The Kissing Booth 2' which was released on July 24th.
