But after getting recognition in the film, he grabbed another British-American film Victoria & Abdul (2017), opposite Judi Dench. Now, once again Fazal marks his name in a star-studded Hollywood film.
As Kenneth Branagh is coming up with his directorial mystery-thriller venture, 'Death on the Nile', Ali Fazal is playing a pivotal role in the film. Helmed by Kenneth Branagh, with a screenplay by Michael Green, the film is based on the 1937 novel with the same name by Agatha Christie. The film is a follow-up to Kenneth Branagh's film 'Murder on the Orient Express' (2017) and stars Branagh returning as Hercule Poirot role. The film is the third screen adaptation of Agatha's novel, following the 1978 film and a 2004 episode of the television series Agatha Christie's Poirot.
