HBO Max is coming up with a new 10-episode series based on popular relaxation and sleep tool Calm. Building on the app's 'sleep stories', each episode of 'A World of Calm' will be about 30-minutes long and will feature 'scientifically-engineered' narratives complemented by soothing music and footage. Through the app series, HBO Max-owner WarnerMedia hopes that the show will help viewers to relax and unwind their thoughts after a stressful day. The main motive behind the series establishment is to reduce the stress level of the people.

The show includes the star-studded cast of narrators, with Mahershala Ali, Idris Elba, Oscar Isaac, Nicole Kidman, Zoë Kravitz, Lucy Liu, Cillian Murphy and Keanu Reeves who are set to lend their voices for the project. Well, now Priyanka Chopra has joined the star cast along with the bunch of big Hollywood names. The actor will lend her voice to an episode of 'A Word of Calm'. The actress shared the news on the micro-blogging site while quoting HBO Max tweet and wrote, "Excited to join such an amazing group of `calming` voices for @hbomax's @calm series, `A World Of Calm.` Coming Oct 1st." HBO's official statement about the series read, 'Transporting the viewer into tranquility through scientifically-engineered narratives, enchanting music and astounding footage, to naturally calm your body and soothe the mind. Each story is brought to life by a different iconic voice and will take viewers on a journey everywhere from a noodle maker's kitchen in Seattle, to the forests of Latvia, and beyond our solar system to the outer stretches of the universe.'

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be seen as the next star in Robert Rodriguez's superhero film 'We Can Be Heroes'. She will also star alongside Richard Madden in Prime Video's thriller series 'Citadel', and also has been cast for an undisclosed role in 'The Matrix 4' opposite Keanu Reeves. She will also star as the spiritual guru and convicted criminal Ma Anand Sheela in Barry Levinson's 'Sheela'.
