After several years of development hell, that long-gestating Uncharted movie adaptation finally got underway when production began in March this year. Now this is a good sign and the reality that this adaptation is actually going to be a thing got solidified when Tom Holland decided to drop the first photo of himself as Nathan Drake onto all the social medias.

He fits the cargo pants and long-sleeved shirt look just fine (though he's probably a bit skinnier than the in-game Nathan Drake) and looks convincing enough as a young treasure hunter. But Tom Holland's Nathan Drake is missing one crucial detail that is arguably more iconic than the character himself: Where is the bloody half tuck?!

You can't be Nathan Drake without having half your shirt messily tucked in, it's just unfathomable and a good enough reason to not watch the film!

The big question now is will Uncharted break the streak of terrible video game movies. History says no but we'll just have to withhold judgement until the movie comes out on July 2021.

Maybe that'll give the filmmakers enough time to get the half-tuck right for Tom Holland's Nathan Drake.At least Nolan North, the original voice and motion-capture actor for Nathan Drake in the video games, approves of Holland as the character so that's something at least.
