The opening episode has reached a cumulative audience of more than 2.78 million viewers on the channel. This figure surpasses that of Game of Thrones back in 2011, which broke a ratings record of its own with 750,000 for the first broadcast nine years ago.
The first three episodes of The Undoing have already pulled in more than 2.5 million viewers, and it's already beaten the likes of Watchmen, True Detective and Big Little Lies.
David E. Kelley's psychological drama - which has been directed by Susanne Bier - sees Nicole play Grace, a high-flying therapist married to an oncologist (Grant), whose life begins to fall apart after a shocking murder. The series is based on the 2014 novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. Due to reach its finale on the network Nov. 30, is now on track to become the biggest U.S. series to ever launch on its Sky Atlantic channel.
