Chloë Grace Moretz battles an unexpected enemy in the trailer for the upcoming sci-fi action movie Shadow in the Cloud. Moretz portrays Maude Garrett, a member of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force who is assigned to a B-17 Flying Fortress under mysterious circumstances. Operating as the safekeeper of a strictly classified piece of cargo, Maude soon comes into contact with a surprising passenger that might endanger the lives of everyone aboard.

The synopsis for Shadow in the Cloud reads as follows: A female WWII pilot traveling with top secret documents on a B-17 Flying Fortress encounters an evil presence on board the flight.



Directed by Roseanne Liang, who co-wrote the screenplay with Max Landis, Shadow in the Cloud also stars Nick Robinson, Beulah Koale, Taylor John Smith, and Callan Mulvey. The movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Shadow in the Cloud, a sci-fi action film will debut on January 1.
