New original films include Outside the Wire, a sci-fi action thriller starring Anthony Mackie and Damson Idris; Ramin Bahrani's The White Tiger; Charming, an animated musical with the voices of Wilmer Valderrama, Demi Lovato, Sia, Ashley Tisdale, G.E.M. and Avril Lavigne; and Pieces of a Woman starring Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf.
As for new original series, the month kicks off with season three of action-comedy series Cobra Kai and season two of Salma Hayek's Mexican drama Monarca, followed by Nicolas Cage's History of Swear Words, a comedic education series about the history and impact of English expletives; Surviving Death, a docuseries that explores near-death experiences, reincarnation and paranormal phenomena; and Fate: The Winx Saga, which follows a group of fairies as they navigate love, rivalries and monsters.
Netflix is also adding films such as 17 Again, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Julie & Julia, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Goodfellas, What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Sex and the City: The Movie, along with its sequel Sex and the City 2.
Other series arriving include seasons one and two of The Haunted Hathaways, season one of L.A.'s Finest, seasons one through three of Henry Danger and season five of The Magicians.
