Triptii Dimri, a rising star in Bollywood, is all set to mesmerize audiences in her upcoming movie Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, where she plays the character Vidya, a small-town girl from Rishikesh. As part of the film, Triptii takes center stage in the dance number 'Mere Mehboob', which features a visually stunning rain sequence alongside co-star Rajkummar Rao. In this article, we'll explore how Triptii Dimri prepared for this iconic dance moment, her inspirations, and what audiences can expect from the film.

In 'Mere Mehboob', Triptii dazzles in a blue indo-western outfit, dancing with effortless grace. This song, choreographed by the legendary Ganesh Acharya and composed by the talented duo Sachin-Jigar, is special for Triptii as it marks her debut in Bollywood dance sequences. Vocals by Shilpa Rao and Sachet Tandon elevate the track, making it one of the most anticipated songs in the film. Speaking about her excitement for this dance number, Triptii said, 'This song is really special for me; this is my dancing number. When your first-ever song is composed by Sachin-Jigar, sung by Shilpa Rao and Sachet Tandon, and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, then what else do you need? I'm very, very thankful, happy, and excited.'

One of the major highlights of Triptii's preparation for this dance number was her inspiration from two Bollywood legends: Raveena Tandon and Katrina Kaif. Both actresses have delivered iconic performances in their versions of the classic song 'Tip Tip Barsa Pani', which has become synonymous with Bollywood rain dance sequences.

Triptii acknowledged their influence, stating, "Yes, I had thought of it and watched them while rehearsing. I can't compare myself to them'they are just too, too good. It was great fun to shoot this song. Ganesh sir and his team were brilliant. I was very nervous because it was my first dance number, but he made it so easy for me. He was like, 'Now that you've learned it, just have fun. Don't think about anything and just play.''

Choreographer Ganesh Acharya, a seasoned veteran known for his innovative and lively dance numbers, played a key role in helping Triptii ease into her first dance performance. Triptii admitted that she was initially nervous about shooting the rain sequence and performing complex dance moves, but Ganesh's guidance made the process enjoyable. Acharya's encouragement to let loose and enjoy the moment helped Triptii overcome her initial jitters, allowing her to fully immerse herself in the performance.

The film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is set in the 1990s, an era often regarded as the golden age of Bollywood. The movie's nostalgic setting, combined with Triptii's portrayal of Vidya, promises to transport audiences back to a time when romance, drama, and music ruled the silver screen. The song 'Mere Mehboob' is an ode to classic Bollywood rain songs, designed to capture the same magic that captivated audiences in the past.

Growing up, Triptii Dimri idolized Bollywood's dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit, whose grace and skill set the standard for dance performances in Indian cinema. Triptii revealed that she would often dance to Madhuri's songs as a child and continues to be a huge fan of the legendary actress. She said, 'Madhuri ma'am, I'm a huge, huge fan of hers, and I used to dance to all her songs. She has always been my favorite.'

Madhuri Dixit's influence is evident in Triptii's performance, as she channels the same passion and precision that made Madhuri a household name. Her dedication to perfecting her craft is clear, and her debut dance number is expected to be a highlight of the film.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, starring Triptii Dimri and Rajkummar Rao, is set to release on October 11, 2024. The film, which blends romance and nostalgia with a nod to Bollywood's 90s era, has already generated significant buzz, thanks in part to Triptii's highly anticipated dance number. The movie's 1990s setting is expected to appeal to audiences who are fans of the golden age of Bollywood, while also offering something fresh for modern viewers.

The film's release will also mark a box-office clash with Alia Bhatt's action-packed film Jigra, making October 2024 an exciting month for Bollywood moviegoers.

Triptii Dimri has quickly risen as one of Bollywood's most promising talents. Known for her roles in critically acclaimed films like Bulbbul and Qala, she has carved a niche for herself as a versatile actress capable of handling both intense drama and lighthearted romance. Her portrayal of Vidya in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is expected to further cement her reputation as an actress to watch.

In addition to her acting skills, Triptii is now proving herself as a dancer, thanks to her debut in 'Mere Mehboob'. Her ability to take on such a challenging role and deliver a memorable performance speaks volumes about her dedication to her craft. With more projects on the horizon, Triptii is undoubtedly a star on the rise.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is shaping up to be a must-watch film, with Triptii Dimri's performance in the song 'Mere Mehboob' generating excitement among Bollywood fans. Drawing inspiration from Bollywood icons like Raveena Tandon, Katrina Kaif, and her idol Madhuri Dixit, Triptii is ready to make her mark as both an actress and a dancer.
