Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan’s team has issued a statement requesting fans and the media to remain patient and refrain from speculation as the police continue their investigation into the attack on Saif Ali Khan.

The statement clarified, “There was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night.”

“Saif sustained an injury on his arm and is currently in the hospital undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is safe. We request the media and fans to be patient and not speculate further, as the police are actively investigating. Thank you all for your concern.”

Sources confirm that Kareena and their children were at home when the attack occurred.

The incident occurred in the middle of the night, and despite being unarmed, the actor successfully defended his loved ones but sustained multiple injuries in the process. Doctors at Lilavati Hospital have confirmed that Saif suffered six stab wounds, with two being particularly deep and serious.



Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, stated, “Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an unidentified person at his Bandra home and was brought in at 3:30 a.m. He has six stab wounds, two of which are deep, one being dangerously close to the spine. He is currently undergoing surgery under the supervision of Neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthesiologist Dr. Nisha Gandhi.”

Police Investigation and Arrests

The Mumbai Police have detained three individuals working at Saif’s residence in connection with the attack. The suspects have been taken to the police station for interrogation.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. when an intruder broke into Saif’s Mumbai home. According to police reports, the attacker first assaulted the house help before confronting the actor. A struggle ensued, leading to Saif being stabbed six times before the assailant fled the crime scene.
