College events play a vital role in a student's life, providing a platform to bloom, rise, and explore. They foster creativity and learning; both essential for aspiring professionals. One such platform is Detour, the annual event hosted by the BMM Department of Jai Hind College. On the 14th & 15th January, the 16th Edition of Detour 2024-25 was successfully hosted which brought together students, industry professionals, and celebrities for two days of continuous competitions and creative showcases. Students from various colleges participated in a wide range of competitions. Detour was a true display of talents, passion and teamwork.

Veer Paharia unveiled his latest song, 'Kya Meri Yaad Aati Hai' from his upcoming movie Skyforce. Veer engaged warmly with the audience, as students enthusiastically sang along filling the venue with excitement. This was his first-ever event in college promoting his own song from his upcoming movie. His heartfelt interaction with the students made this a memorable event.

The competition was intense but in the end, the Contingent Uday Shetty bagged the trophy with the first place, with Contingent Jethalal and another Contingent secured the First Runners-Up and Second Runners-Up positions respectively.
