Sharing glimpses on Instagram, she wrote, “With the blessings of Shri Balaji, a new chapter begins. May we all find peace in our hearts and prosperity and abundance all around us. Priyanka Chopra Joins Mahesh Babu’s 'SSMB29'?

Speculation is rife that Priyanka has been cast as the leading lady in South Indian superstar Mahesh Babu’s highly anticipated film, tentatively titled SSMB29. The ambitious project will be directed by SS Rajamouli, the mastermind behind RRR.

Reports suggest that Priyanka’s arrival at Hyderabad airport a few days ago fueled rumors of her involvement in the film. However, no official confirmation has been made.

A Mega-Budget Global Adventure

Touted as a global adventure spanning exotic locations, SSMB29 is rumored to feature Mahesh Babu’s character inspired by Lord Hanuman. The high-budget film is expected to be made in two parts, with a staggering budget of ₹900–₹1,000 crores.

If confirmed, SSMB29 will mark Priyanka Chopra’s return to Telugu cinema after 23 years. Her last Telugu film was Apuroopam (2002), directed by P. Ravi Shankar.
