John Travolta reportedly sleeps during the day and carries out most of his business at night to avoid unwanted attention from obsessive fans.

The "Pulp Fiction" star doesn't get up until 5 p.m. and his two children, Ella, 4, and Jett, 12, keep to the same schedule, even though wife Kelly Preston was unhappy about the idea at first, reported the Femalefirst portal.

"In the daytime I get recognised," the 50-year-old star said, explaining his unorthodox working hours.

On the subject of his kids resorting to the same, he said: "Half because they like it and half because that's when they get to see dad."
