Liz Hurley wants to extend her eight-bedroom farmhouse - because it's not big enough.
The "Bewitched" star and former girlfriend of film star Hugh Grant has applied to convert a barn at her 2.5 million Cotswold home, Ampney Knowle, into guest bedrooms, Sky
News reported.
To achieve this goal, she has reportedly started getting her servants to accept her dictat on a platter. She is also reported to be turning the stables at her eight-bedroom
mansion into accomodation for staff, guests and a recreation area. The project is being carried out at an estimated cost of 100,000 pounds, reports The Sun.
Her application reads: "Having lived at Ampney Knowle for over one year now I feel the need for additional guest bedrooms that are separate to the house.
"I wish to keep the existing courtyard feel and have therefore decided to use stables to achieve this aim."
Hurley, who lives near the "Titanic" star Kate Winslet, TV presenter Anne Robinson and model Kate Moss, could have her plans foiled if any of the neighbours raise
objections to the application before March 1.
