Teenage actress Lindsay Lohan's mother and siblings have rushed to join the actress on the set of her new movie in Louisiana after newspaper reports alleged her father wanted to kill them.

Just days after Michael Lohan was arrested on suspicions of drunk driving, gossip in New York claimed he told a security guard he was planning to kill his estranged wife Dina and their kids, reported the Internet Media Database.

Dina Lohan, who has filed divorce papers against her husband, claims he told the guard: "I know exactly how I'm going to kill (them). I know when I'm going to do it and I'm going to enjoy it."

Lindsay Lohan's representatives insist the latest family scandal has failed to upset the teenager. One spokeswoman said: "Lindsay's in a good space. She's keeping busy."
