Was it love? Friendship? Former flames Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz hanged out together during a party after the Oscar awards, Sky News reported.

The two "Vanilla Sky" stars, who spent three years together before they split in January 2004, were spotted chatting and having a giggle at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party after the awards ceremony.

Rumours have lately linked Cruise with a Colombian actress, Sofia Vergara, whilst Cruz is meant to be dating her "Sahara" co-star, Matthew McConaughey.

But with their other halves absent, Cruise and Cruz caught up and showed that there was no bad blood between them.
