Mystery surrounds John Travolta's hairline ever since the "Pulp Fiction" star appears to have ditched his crew-cut look for a head of flowing locks at the Oscars.

Travolta wore his hair short during David Letterman's "The Late Show" last week and during the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

But, in between, during the Academy Awards presentation Sunday, the "Grease" star was seen sporting flowing locks, reported the Internet Media Database.

The actor's publicists are refusing to comment about the actor's Oscar hairdo, which appeared drastically different from the short-cropped look Travolta has been sporting during all his US promotional work for his new movie "Be Cool".
