Pop singer Jennifer Lopez has ignored fears over her joint world tour with hubby Marc Anthony.

Lopez's aides fear that the singer's decision to tour with Anthony could damage her career by confusing and alienating her fans, reports ratethemusic.com.

"She's been trying to see if it's the right thing. Jen's people have advised her not to because it's bad for her career. She's too mainstream to tour with him. He needs her, but she doesn't need him," Britain's OK! Magazine quoted a source as saying.

Anthony, however, is thrilled about the tour, because along with J Lo, he will also get a chance to perform in front of a bigger crowd.
