James Cameron, director of the Hollywood blockbuster "Titanic", is all set to launch an ocean exploration project, says Xinhua.

The "Deep Ocean One" project to be launched March 24 aims to attract more governments to invest in deep ocean exploration projects.

Ahead of the project, Cameron will host a private screening of his new documentary "Aliens of the Deep", a three-dimensional IMAX documentary.

Mike McDowell, CEO of the Deep Ocean Expeditions company, will lead the project.

Deep Ocean Expeditions was the first adventure sports company to offer underwater exploration to the deck of the Titanic, which sank in the Atlantic ocean in 1912.
