The Michael Jackson trial resumed Monday following a brief delay caused by the apparently-ailing pop star's late arrival at the California courthouse.
The judge in Jackson's child molestation trial called both sides into his chambers for a closed-door conference before ordering testimony in the sexual molestation trial to
resume.
Jackson was only a few minutes late for Monday's proceedings; however, he walked slowly, taking small steps and appeared to be ill.
He retired to a private room adjacent to the courtroom while the lawyers met with the judge.
Fox News said Jackson was assisted by aides and accompanied by another individual who was said to be a physician.
It wasn't the first time Jackson's health has delayed his trial. He arrived late on March 10 wearing his pajama pants and slippers suffering from what his attorney called a bad
back.In February, he detoured to an emergency room with a case of the flu during jury selection.
