Ashton Kutcher, known for his hit television joke show "Punk'd", says he will never play any prank on his nearest and dearest ones so that they always take him seriously.

Hollywood's most famous practical joker fears that if he was ever in a real emergency situation, his girlfriend Demi Moore and her daughters might think he was joking, reported the Internet Media Database.

"Basically, there are about four people who are completely off-limits. If something serious were ever to go down, like if something happens to one of the girls and I had to call Demi, I can't have been the boy who cried wolf. You've got to be able to be there for each other," Kutcher was quoted as saying.

Kutcher admits he has also given up trying to play tricks on his best pals. "They're all wise to it, and if anything goes down, they're immediately thinking something's up."
