Disillusioned with the romantic comedy roles she is normally identified with, Sandra Bullock claims she is interested only in risky film parts now.

The "Miss Congeniality" star said she is relishing the prospect of challenging herself with roles audiences wouldn't normally associate her with, reported the Internet Media Database.

"I don't do anything any more that feels safe. If it doesn't scare the crap out of you, then you're not doing the right thing. The hardest thing is the comedy, if it doesn't work, it's painfully obvious," the 40-year-old said.
