Victoria Beckham, wife of Real Madrid footballer David Beckham, is planning to quit Spain - just seven months after joining him there.

The former Spice Girl is reportedly desperate to leave Madrid so that the couple's three sons - five-year-old Brooklyn, two-year-old Romeo and newborn Cruz - can be educated in Britain.

The news comes in the wake of comments made by Beckham, 29, that he has considered a move back to Britain because of the way the Spanish paparazzi have been hounding him and his children.

"Victoria has made her decision about returning to Britain. She's told David that the children's future and safety is her number one concern. If her return to the UK means living apart, then so be it," a source was quoted as saying.
