Sandra Bullock claims she can still be a sex symbol though she's turned 40.

The stunning "Miss Congeniality" star says she can still look good and doesn't need help from any cosmetic surgery to give her confidence.

She said: "I don't know why people make an issue out of it. Do they think things fall off when you turn 40? Have I had plastic surgery? No, look at me."

The brunette beauty, who has become disillusioned with the romantic comedy roles she is known for, says she is looking forward to the challenge of playing roles audiences wouldn't normally associate her with.
