Singing legend Lena Horne has agreed to let play her in an upcoming biopic.

Janet Jackson lost Horne's vote to play her when the pop superstar bared her breast at last year's Super Bowl, and now Horne has given her blessing to Houston to step into her shoes, femalefirst.com reported.

According to sources, Houston wrote a letter to Horne, asking her for permission to bring her life to the big screen in a biopic, and the singing legend agreed to the request.
