"Pirates Of The Caribbean" actor Orlando Bloom may be seen as the young James Bond in the new movie based on novel "Silvefin".
The star, confirming the negotiations, was quoted by the Internet Media Database as saying: "I love the idea, in principle, as he can be far more adventurous and do more
stunts. This is as near as I think I will get to playing the grown up James for the next 20 years."
The film set in the 1930s - years before agent 007 discovered he liked his Martinis shaken, not stirred - will follow the young Bond from the British school at Eton to his
uncle's house in the west Highlands.
