scar-winning actor Jamie Foxx has gone off alcohol thanks to a 12-hour drinking binge with Irish star Colin Farrell.

Foxx shared a drinking session with the "Alexander" star on Easter Sunday, after which he put off drinking for a while, reported Sky News.

"Colin showed Jamie how the holiday is celebrated at home by enjoying pint after pint of Guinness," a source was quoted as saying.

"But Jamie wasn't feeling too good the next day and has been put off alcohol for a while."

According to the film fraternity, the two actors who recently met for the shooting of "Miami Vice" have now become thick friends.
