Pamela Anderson is set to become the new face of Mac's Viva Glam V lipstick campaign and will act as a spokesperson for the company's AIDS fund-raising, Femalefirst
reports.
The former "Baywatch" babe - who has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C - said: "Viva Glam V is a great campaign to be involved with. I feel privileged and empowered to help
raise funds."
"After being diagnosed with Hepatitis C, I knew the importance of knowing your status. Only then can you make informed and wise decisions for your health and life."
Other celebrities who have fronted the Viva Glam V campaign include Christina Aguilera, Boy George and Missy Elliott.
Apart from AIDS, Anderson is also a passionate spokesperson for the animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and caused a stir last week
after she refused to get into a lift with a woman who was wearing a fur coat.
