Russell Crowe is reported to have shouted at a woman who approached him for an autograph while he was enjoying a meal with wife Danielle Spencer in New Wales, Australia.

"The woman was a huge fan and wanted to do the autograph thing. But her bloke kept a lid on it, rightly suggesting that star or not, people should be allowed to have a meal in peace," an onlooker was quoted as saying.

However, when the bills arrived there was a mix-up and the couple got Crowe's bill instead. So the woman approached the table, explained the problem and then asked for an autograph.

But her request didn't go down well at all. "He yelled at the restaurant staff and then shouted at the woman, suggesting she'd set the whole bill thing up," the onlooker said.

This is not the first time Crowe has been accused of bad behaviour. He was earlier accused of biting his bodyguard during a fight while filming in Canada.
